My boyfriend and I brought my parents here for dinner because my boyfriend and I love Afghan Kitchen so much, and my parents loved it! Every time we come here, the warm, welcoming smell of delicious food envelops us the moment we walk in. Minar, the server, is always the most wonderful person: she’s friendly, upbeat, and amazing in every aspect! The food is the best we’ve had! They put some kind of flavor-filled seasoning on many of their food items (it almost looks like paprika, but it’s more flavorful and tastier). The season is so good, my boyfriend will make sure every grain is consumed by scraping it up with garlic naan from our plates! We were also able to try their rose water ice cream, which I do not know if they have on their menu consistently. It was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! It had a distinct rose flavor, but it was so mellow in a good way. Topped with crushed pistachios (as you can see in the picture), I would legitimately be able to eat an entire gallon of this by myself! Their pudding, Firni, is also the best pudding I’ve had! The flavor is mellow, but you can taste cardamom in it, giving it an extra unique flavor that makes your taste buds crave more! They also put crushed pistachios on top, which adds a delightful texture! I would want to order this, and I would take this to parties because it’s such a delicious flavor that everyone needs to try! Everything is house-made—their sauces, their naan, their dessert... everything! And I feel like family when I dine here! I am blown away by the quality of Afghan Kitchen on Main Street!

We ordered the sampler for our party of six and it was amazing! We could’ve eaten more because it was so good. The eggplant was especially good and the flavoring and spice of the dishes hit the spot every single time. I wish I got a picture of the food all beautiful but we were digging in immediately. Ample parking and no wait when we went Saturday night but we got there pretty early. The ambience is very nice with great decor and the staff were so nice.

Feels like a homemade homestyle kitchen/ restaurant with delicious decent priced Afghan cuisine! The restaurant itself is kinda hidden and you wouldn’t expect it to be where it’s at. Has a cute bar, a little table in the front and some seating in the back. There was a bit of a wait after ordering our food but I must say it was all worth the wait! Our dumplings were delicious and even though the portion was small, it was just enough and really made you hungry for the main. My wife got a sizzling plate of lamb & chicken with vegetables called Chicken & Lamb Dashi and I got a Lamb Shank Mushroom! Both were delicious and cooked so well but my lamb on the mushroom dish just basically melted off the bone! It was so perfect and yummy! The restaurant has kind of an old vibe to it which feels kinda nostalgic and homely. The staff were nice and quick and mindful! All in all a great spot to eat and take someone out for dinner! Definitely coming back!

I honestly don't visit this place enough. My absolute favorite dish would be the mantu. It's technically an appetizer, but it's so popular, you can order it as a meal! My goodness, it's like taking a bite of heaven, lol. It's essentially a beef dumpling topped with a yogurt sauce and some delicious spices. I ordered the lamb shank, and it is fall off the bone good. They also had some eggplant stuff that accompanied the rice quite well. Love that they have sauces that they offer as well. Ya'll know I'm a saucy girl! Definitely visit if you love flavor.

Afghan Kitchen on main street (not to be confused with the other one close by) is a small restaurant serving food from Afghanistan. Parking out front has a few spots, with street parking around the side if needed. Inside, they have about a dozen or so tables. Their menu is a good size, with many different types of protein options like lamb, chicken, beef and more. Price per portion is good since the plates are loaded with food, including the appetizers. The naan was literally bigger than my head! The lamb dishes flavor are delicious, so I would highly recommend it. They bring out some hot sauces, chutney and yogurt sauce before hand as well. The service is great, it's a family owned business and the owners are super friendly. Overall this is a great place to eat solo or even with groups up to 8 to sit comfortably. If you haven't tried this type of food before, I'd say don't be scared because it is so flavorful without being super spice heavy.

I don’t think I’ve had afghan food before... but I will definitely have it again! The restaurant is small, but cozy, and the welcome was warm. The portions are generous, the flavors are somehow familiar but different enough to be intriguing, and

This is a great little hole in the wall. The food was phenomenal. Great service. If you like Indian food this is slightly similar. I loved the spices and the flavors. The restaurant can handle about 30 people, so it is cozy. I will eat here again.
